Surah Al Furqan Ayat 1 Tafseer

Para 18 - قَدْ اَفْلَحَ

سورة الفرقان

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

25.1

تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِیْ نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلٰى عَبْدِهٖ لِیَكُوْنَ لِلْعٰلَمِیْنَ نَذِیْرَاﰳۙ (1)

Kanz ul Iman Kanz ul Irfan

English translation of Kanz-ul-Imaan

Most Blessed is He Who has sent down the Qur'aan upon His (chosen) bondsman who may be a warner to the entire world.

Commentary

In this portion of the verse, it is stated that the messengership of the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is universal; he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was sent as a Messenger to all of creation, whether it be jinn, human, angel, or any other creation. They are all part of his ummah, for everything besides Allah Almighty is known as ʿālam (universe), and thus they are all included in this. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم himself said,
“اُرْسِلْتُ اِلَی الْخَلْقِ کَآ فَّۃ ً” i.e., I was sent as a Messenger to the entire creation. (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim: 5
